Ivor Bolton, conductor A Special Concert in Honor of Professor Zaslaw's 70th Year ~The author of more than 70 articles and books on baroque music, historical performance practices, Mozart, and the early history of the orchestra, Herbert Gussman Professor of Music Neal Zaslaw has been at Cornell since 1970. The world-renowned Mozarteum Orchestra, originating from the Cathedral Music Society and Mozarteum in 1841, and distinguished English conductor Ivor Bolton are hallmarks of the annual Mozart and Salzburg Festivals in Austria.
